Jonnie Rodriguez

Jonnie Rodriguez is an artist and the founder of APT Gallery, based in the Bronx. His work moves between physical canvases, graphic collections and visual experiences, with music and personal memory appearing across different projects.

Somewhere In Between considers the relationship between a recurring figure, colour and scale. Other collections begin with an album and explore what happens when it takes on another form: a book cover, a cartridge or a moving image. Each project keeps its own visual language.

The selected projects below trace that range, from original canvases to animated scenes. They offer different entry points into the work; the final biography and artist statement will be written in Jonnie’s own words.
