Cookie Policy
Last updated 16 October 2026
Analytics is optional. Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. Private-page sign-in uses a separate essential cookie.
This page has not been reviewed by an attorney. It describes how the site currently works and marks what has not been decided.
1What we set
The essential sign-in cookie is named journal_auth. It is set only if you sign in to a password-protected page, it lasts 30 days, and it holds nothing but proof that the sign-in happened. It carries no name, no address and no identifier for you.
Your choice on the cookie banner is not a cookie. It is kept in your browser’s local storage under apt-gallery-cookie-consent, which never travels to a server. Clearing your browser data clears it, and the banner will ask again.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits and sessions. We configure these cookies to expire after one year; continued use can renew them.
2Optional analytics
Google Analytics receives page views and playlist-click events, along with technical information about your browser and device. Our event code excludes email addresses, form contents, URL query strings and fragments.
Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Analytics does not load before consent or when you choose Essential only.
3Payments
Card details are never handled by this site. Checkout takes place on Stripe’s own pages, and Stripe sets its own cookies there under its own policy — including cookies used to detect fraud. Those are outside this site’s control and are covered by Stripe’s policy, not this one.
4Managing your preferences
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to accept or decline analytics. Choosing Essential only stops further analytics collection and removes the Google Analytics cookies set by this site. It does not erase previously collected reports.
Every browser can block or delete cookies in its own settings. Blocking them will not affect browsing this site; it will only stop a private page from remembering you.
5Contact
What the gallery collects, and how to have it removed, is on the Privacy Policy.
Questions about this page can go through the inquiry page, which is the only contact route the site currently has.

- A contact address for privacy and cookie enquiries. No contact channel for the gallery is recorded anywhere, so none is printed here.
