Kanye is hard-working, middle class citizen just trying to make ends meet and do right by his daughter, Nori and wife, Brooke. Bills are racking up, income isn't getting any higher but Kanye's doing his best to get as much overtime and even look for a second job. All of this prevents him from spending quality time with his wife and making memories with little Nori. Bothered by it all, Nori begins to rebel and resent her father. On top of that, Brooke starts having an affair with a co-worker. Aware of the lack of attention they seek, Kanye goes about trying to make up for it all by just working and saving up for the holidays to make it special one.
One night after a long day, Kanye is exhausted sitting on a bench waiting for the train. He sees a small group of young black kids freestyling on the platform and a few officers on the other side staring at them. Kanye, keeping in mind with all that's been going on with all the Black Lives Matter movement and innocent blood that's been spread lately, warns the teens to chill out just a bit because they're bringing attention to themselves. He tries to reason with them, but they tell him to fuck off. Train's gets delayed, he's sits back on the bench quietly while the kids continue to be rowdy. Next thing you know, the cops end up walking on his side of the platform and approach Kanye. They question him if he was trying to set anything up to rebel against the cops. Nervous, but keeping his composure, he tries to explain himself but they don't wanna hear it. They cut him off and ask for him to get on the ground. One of the kids sees the scene happening and walks up to the cops to defend Kanye. As the kid goes to get the officers attention by touching his shoulder, the officer jumps around and pulls out his gun. Seeing the officer startled, his partner does the same and the attention is towards the kid and his friends now. Scared, the kid doesn't know what to do and his friends are yelling at the cops to put the guns down. The kid frozen and scared, just looks at Kanye on the floor wondering what to do. Kanye mouths to him to just calm down and don't run. Panicking, looking around, seeing that his friends have left him, the kid turns around to flee the scene as well. The cops pull the trigger and shoot him down. Crying on the floor, scene fades to Kanye in the jail cell.
Sitting there spaced out, an officer approaches him to let him know he can make his phone call now. He calls his wife but it goes straight to voicemail, he leaves her a message explaining what happened and that he has money saved in his account for her to bail him out.
Fast-forward to him being released and his wife, furious, not wanting to hear any of what he has to say.
Sorry to break the flow of the story folks but uh, this in-between stage, I haven't got it quite figured out yet. So let's fast-forward some more.
Kanye meet his lawyer, Charlie, to help him out with the case.
Fast-forward even more, story then revolves around the case of Kanye being accused of that boy's death somehow? Idk if that makes sense. Fuck the system. Throughout all this, wife wants a divorce now. Fantastic. His daughter wants nothing to do with him. Great. Oh yeah then Nori to finds out her mom got some new man real quick and she like him cause he got money...but he hits Brooke one night so Nori changes up real quick. Time passes, Nori finally gets a chance to see her dad after neglecting him for some time. She sees his face, cries, misses him, tells him Brooke got a new guy but Nori doesn't like him and wants Kanye and Brooke to get back together. Mad family drama shit. Good drama. Well, decent drama. Not that Tyler Perry drama.
Fast-forward some more, Kanye wins case, goes to pick up his daughter from school as he promised in one scene early in the story.
Tell my baby I'm back in town.
Done.
Ended abruptly here but if developed into a script the flow would be, flowtastic.
Also, side-note, Charlie is the Charlie from Ultralight Beam. He grew up to become a lawyer.
